Macaron Day March 20, 2015

Macaron Day is just around the corner, March 20 is the sweetest day of the year in Vancouver and all over the world! Enjoy macarons for a good cause!

Our Parisian café in Mount Pleasant will be showcasing all things “macarons”: small ones, large ones, fun facts and our Chefs will be there making macarons throughout the day, available to answer all your questions. In addition to 15 flavours of traditional bite-sized French macarons, we will have 4 different flavours of large macarons: rose/litchi, pistachio/sour cherry, salted caramel/caramelized apples and lemon/blueberry.

Macaron Day (2)

Everyone who mentions Macaron Day in the store will receive a macaron and will be invited to make a donation to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (while supplies last, suggested donation: $2). Part of all macarons sales will be donated to the Foundation as well.

Traditionnally in France, March 20 is “le Jour du Macaron” (Macaron Day). Initiated by famous pastry chef Pierre Hermé, it is celebrated worldwide and in Vancouver for the fourth year. We trust your generosity to raise more funds than last year! In Vancouver, visit also our friends at Soirette for more macarons in support of a good cause (Make a Wish Foundation)

Spread the word and invite your friends, neighbours, colleagues, etc!

We will have about 15 different flavours available at the beginning of the day. Our hours are 8am to 6pm (macarons while supplies last).
