We’re renovating the bakery at 81 Kingsway to increase the seating capacity so we can offer a bigger and more comfortable café with washrooms We’re almost done and plan on opening the new room by the first week of December. In the meantime we are open as usual, we just don’t get much sleep and work on the renos after hours!
We will have 3 kinds of yule logs for Christmas:
- “Trois Chocolats“: a crunchy chocolate cake with layers of dark, milk and white chocolate (Valhrona Araguani single origin Venezuela 72% dark, Valrhona Bahibe 38% milk and Valrhona Ivoire)
- “Hispahan“: a combination of rose, raspberry and litchi mousses on a gluten free almond cake.
- “Praliné“: a classic but always popular rolled cake with Valrhona praliné buttercream.
Please pre-order by December 18 for a pick up on the 23 or 24.
This year we will sell chocolate Santas (about 8 inches tall) and chocolate boots filled with goodies. All made with French organic chocolate. Seasonal cookies and confections will make great stocking stuffers: crunchy Caramelia chocolate balls (like mini-maltesers), Zanzibar (chocolate and ginger chewy cookies)
